Long Way Back
Well It’s a long way back to where you started from
And it’s a hard trail to walk when you’ve done so much wrong
I don’t know if I can fix it, don’t know if I can
Im a hard headed woman you’re a stubborn old man
Now you’ve lost your mind spun outta control
And it’s a long way back to where you started from
It’s a long way back to where you started from
And it’s a hard trail to walk when you’ve done so much wrong
I don’t know if I can fix it, don’t know if I can
I’m a hard headed woman you’re a stubborn old man
Now you’ve lost your mind spun outta control
And it’s a long way back to where you started from
It’s a long, long way back
It’s a long, long way back
And It’s a long way back to where you started from
You better, count your blessings count them up and down
You’ll be missin one cause I wont be around
You slammed the door one too many times
Lied to my face you looked me dead in the eyes
I know what you’ve taken and I know what you’re on
And It’s a long way back to where you started from
It’s a long, long way back
It’s a long, long way back
And It’s a long way back to where you started from

Roses
By Skylar Gregg
Standin’ in a dancin’ crowd of people
A lady’s perfume overwhelmed my face
A pungent rose cloud gathered round me
A scent so vivid I could taste
It reminded me of all who went before me
Of every one dead I ever knew
It reminded me, I don’t have time for nothin
It reminded me I got too much left to do
They say to stop and smell the roses
Lord I aint got enough time
Roses smell like death to me
Remind me of old memories
I’ve got too much shit to do before I die
Some find our field of flowers in the effort
Some like a different kind of bud I think
The essence of a job well done smells sweet to me
While to others the smell of sweat must really stink
They say to stop and smell the roses
Lord I aint got enough time
Roses smell like death to me
Remind me of old memories
I’ve got too much shit to do before I die

LANDFILL
BY SKYLAR GREGG
THE GRASS IS GREEN FROM POISON AND IT TRICKS YOUR EYES
YOU CAN CATCH IT GLOWIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT
A LAND RECLAIMED BY GARBAGE AND IT’S SEEPIN TO MY SOUL
AFRAID OF CONTAMINATION BUT THERE AIN’T NO PLACE TO GO
STACK IT UP AND PACK IT IN
LAYERS OF TIME RIDDEN WITH MY SIN
DEEP INTO THE GROUND
WILL WE GET TO THE BOTTOM OF ALL OF THIS MESS
I REALIZE ON THIS HILL THAT I’M A LANDFILL
IS THERE SOME MAGIC PILL TO DISPOSE OF ALL THIS WASTE
TO LIGHTEN UP THE LOAD OF ALL THE ROT AND THIS DECAY
THERE’S ONLY ONE REASON THAT YOU SHOULD GO
TO MANMADE DESSERT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD

40 E and 40 W
By Skylar Gregg
From the window of our hotel room
Watched cars stop at the gulf
You could hear their sounds break through the waves
Risin higher towards the road
You know that building it was meant to sway
To weather that storm
That storm blew in a wind that changed
The direction that I was goin
Now Im on the highway
Count every line I’ve crossed
I’ve been so many people
I don’t remember where I’m from
I’ve got some things to get off of my chest
meet me somewhere in the middle
Of 40 E and 40 W
Who knew the summer sun could burn me down
Set a fire on the street
Took a right at a crossroad
Where I left a part of me
When you've got a heart that’s made of glass
It only takes one tiny stone
To break opened a devotion I have
harbored for so long

I Already Know
By Kyshona Armstrong, Shannon Labrie, and Skylar Gregg
See these arms
They can hold you
And these arms
They can carry your load
See these Hands
They may touch you
Oh these hands
They can break down the walls
Im listenin’
What you
Wanna say
What do you got to tell me
Im listenin’
What You
Wanna Say
What do You got to tell me
I know that you can see the fire within me
Don’t think that I can see through all of your smoke
Maybe the truth is that your burnin’ with envy
You don’t have to tell me cause I already know
See these lips
May entice you
Just a whisper of one word and you’ve started a war
See these hips
They may sway you
They can birth a nation while you stand there and watch
All this time you keep on talkin
In my mind these wheels are turnin and
I can’t hardly get a word in
I Already know

Never Enough
By Skylar Gregg
Always thought you could be happy
I thought that you could
But your always searchin
For that little somethin
To make you feel good
In all of this darkness
There’s one tiny light
I find you driftin round
tryin to find it in the middle of the night
It’s Never Enough
It’s Never Enough
When It gets a hold of you
Lose all control of who
You had become
It’s Never Enough
It’s never enough
When your glass is half empty
Cause there’s a hole in the side
And you know that you wont
Be able to fill it
But you’re sure gonna try
It’s Never Enough
It’s Never Enough
When It gets a hold of you
Lose all control of who
You had become
It’s Never Enough
It’s never enough

Witch Hunt
Alexis Thompson and Skylar Gregg
In Adams Tn there lived a man named John Bell
He threw Kate in the Cumberland and watched her walk out
The story had the whole town under a spell
Conjured up a storm inside of their house
Ohhh You’ve got demons yourself
Don’t always blame it on somebody else
John had a daughter who came to know Kate well
Even her true lover failed the bell witches test
She left him by the river and went back to the farm
To vindicate the whispers and the bruises on her arm
Ohhh You’ve got demons yourself
Don’t always blame it on somebody else
The Red River Bottomland has stories to reveal
What was the explanation for the shadows on the field
The Carencrros they circled smelled the anger and the fear
They can’t see threw the dark, but they will prey on what is here
Ohhh You’ve got demons yourself
Don’t always blame it on somebody else
Who are you and what do you want
It’s always some kind of witch hunt
Ohhh You’ve got demons yourself
Don’t always blame it on somebody else
Who are you and what do you want
It’s always some kind of witch hunt

Everything’s Gonna Be Fine
By Skylar Gregg
Lean a little closer baby
I’ve got somethin’ I hope will ease your mind
I’ve got news for your poster people
Not everything works out right all the time
Don’t Worry
Don’t Worry
Don’t Worry Baby
Everything’s Gonna Be Fine
Oh, It’s gonna rain
There will be some dark and stormy nights
Look into the sunny days
With you and me baby everything will work out just fine
Maybe we get 90 years
We’ll be lucky to make it through the night
Ill soak up every minute
Every second until the day that I die

Have You Ever Tried To Lose Your Mind
Mando Saenz and Skylar Gregg
I was born on a stormy day
Bound to be ridin on a trackless train
blood runnin through my veins is an era in the making
I was rollin on a rusted wheel
Ridin the line of what was real
I spent my youth lett’in myself go crazy
I guess that’s how my kind goes
Watchin TV while there brains let go
Never wantin’ to know what when or why
I guess it might be for the best
When your life is such a mess
Spend the whole time spinnin to unwind
Have you ever tried ever tried to lose your mind
Now a different kind of insanity
True love stumbled into me
Find it hard to breathe
When I’m flyin
Even though Im on solid ground
hear my hearts every sound
don’t want the day to go dyin
When I think back on the days I blew
before I started hangin on to you
Wish I’d been locked in your eyes
And burned into my memory
This time between you and me
Hope I don’t ever let go of tonight
Have You Ever Tried to Lose your mind
Cause that’s how my kind goes
Watchin TV while there brains let go
Never wantin to know what when or why
Hope it’s not for the best
When your life was such a mess
Spent your whole life spinnin to unwind
Have you ever tried ever tried to lose your mind
Have you ever tried to to lose your mind
Have you ever tried to lose your mind

Drunk in Nashville
By Matt Mackey and Skylar Gregg
NY NY Your bars don’t close til 5
But no one told me til I hit the streets
I waited for the bartender to tell me it was time
To go home, but on my own, Im drinkin til daylight
I only get drunk in Nashville
Cause I know the streets by name
I may not be able to drive you home
But I can sure tell you the way
Drop me off on my best friends porch
Some things never change
I only get drunk in Nashville
I’ve drank everywhere else
Just aint the same
Sweet Home Chicago
Ain’t never been that sweet to me
Lost my fan to a white sox fan drinkin one afternoon
I walked home cold, in the snow, wishin it was June
I only get drunk in Nashville
Cause I know the streets by name
I may not be able to drive you home
But I can sure tell you the way
Drop me off on my best friends porch
Some things never change
I only get drunk in Nashville
I’ve drank everywhere else
Just aint the same
California knows how to party
Tiki drinks for 14.95
One umbrella behind each ear
Time to paint the town
I got stoned, sold my phone, and bought the house a round
I only get drunk in Nashville
Cause I know the streets by name
I may not be able to drive you home
But I can sure tell you the way
Drop me off on my best friends porch
Some things never change
I only get drunk in Nashville
I’ve drank everywhere else
Just aint the same

Southern Strain
Taylor Lonardo and Skylar Gregg
The southern strains got a hold on me
Hopes grow high and roots run deep
Flowered from the same kind of bud
The southern strain is runnin through my blood
Oh the Green Green Grass of Home
I’ve been workin all damn day
Oh and I need to take the edge off
Oh That Sweet Southern Strain
Plant myself reflect my day
Beams of light illuminate
I see the rays through the clouds
Hopin I made everybody proud
Oh the Green Green Grass of Home
I’ve been workin all damn day
Oh and I need to take the edge off
Oh That Sweet Southern Strain
Circle never broken
A bond thats never spoken
We’re all the same
A simple life we’re livin
A simple gift were given
Oh The sweet southern strain
Oh the Green Green Grass of Home
I’ve been workin all damn day
Oh and I need to take the edge off
Oh That Sweet Southern Strain
